Hey guys real quick update for you all. We finally won 1 match! Wow…. it’s been a day we’re now playing the best team Yo Yo Tech. They have rocked our group all day and are a decent team.

Anyways the point of this blog post was to let everyone know that i finally set up the twitter account! You can follow me at www.twitter.com/bmfx It’ll make everything easier to follow as i will likely be updating the twitter more often than the blog during the rest of the event!

Thanks guys if your at i36 come hit me up seated at G-3! Also we’re talking about fielding my USA lan team to i37 to redeem the US players >.<

Day One of i36! Sad Day =(

Well i neglected to update recently, more or less it’s been due to massive travel and catching up on sleep, So i have to apologize for that.

Sad to say the way the event has kicked off is less than picture perfect for myself. Upon Arrival in the uk, i was told we were missing a player due to lack of registration. Even worst once i got to the event yesterday for early arrival i was told 3 of our players wouldn’t be there till the afternoon the next day. Which would be fine normally but none of us have played together and on top of that our “team manger” neglected to sign us up for the call of duty 4 event.

Don’t get me wrong the guys that were on my “mix” team are all friendly and decent guys. It’s just not the type of team i am used to, Epically after watching and managing Regeneration. Come to right now we are in the middle of group stages of the call of duty 4 tournament with a team who has never played together and has lost all 3 of their matches so far. Granted they haven’t all drastic failures, but it’s just not what i was expecting or hoping for.

The up side is there’s a lot of great players here and alot of fun people to hang out with. So i am sure even if i am knocked out there will be things to do to keep busy!

On a side note, i have started speaking to a few players about feilding a new team for TGL and Cevo! Let’s hope it works out. Also really quick Front Line Gaming saddly lost their CEVO-O playoff match, they likely won’t be considered CEVO-P next season but they will most likely have a placement slot so best of luck to them!

And the adventure starts. Off to Phoniex!

Hey guys, well what can I say?

This crazy trip to the United Kingdom has started. This is the first time I am headed over seas, who would have guessed that it’d be for a video game event. For everyone who doesn’t know I am headed to i36, which is the largest lan and computer show in the united kingdom, Or at least that’s what I have been told.

As I am typing this I am on a flight headed towards Phoenix Arizona from Seattle Washington. It’s been a long day of packing and making sure I have everything I need to compete as well as market my self and my newly formed E-Sports organization known as Core E-Sports.

Hoping to compete with some of the best call of duty 4 teams. I am playing for a mix team, and truth be told they aren’t going to win but they will put up a decent fight. Or at least I hope.

The other different thing about this event is the fact I am going to attempt to compete in FIFA 09 on the Xbox. Now you have to realize I have never played before, and I am slightly worried. With luck maybe I can run into the Frag Dominate player and get some quick tips.

Looks like I am going to finish getting the last of my missing parts here in Arizona and than it’s off to New Jersey in the morning. I am working on getting a live feed set up from my computer at i36, we’ll see if I can get it to work if I can it’ll be on stickam and everyone will be able to watch.

Expect a lot of photos and interviews with some of the top players in Europe. Stay tuned I’ll be updating the blog likely many times a day. I’ll also be twittering away like crazy from all over.

To anyone attending i36 be sure to come find me. I should be wearing a Core E-sports shirt, pretty bright colors on it (lime green and pink) so I shouldn’t be to hard to find!
